Our Fee Schedule
Seven-week session of classes: $125* prior to May 1, 2008
Each week of class is one hour long and each session lasts 7 weeks.  Students have unlimited access to their instructors throughout the week via email and telephone.  In the event a student misses a class, make-ups can be accommodated.  Click here to visit our student make-up website.
All classes are 7-weeks long unless otherwise indicated on the schedule.

*  Effective May 1, 2008 we will be raising the fee for our 7-week sessions of classes. This small increase in our fees will allow us to keep up with our increasing operating costs (rental rates, utility fees, etc.). Please note that this is our first increase since January 2005 -- more than three years ago.

Effective May 1, 2008 our new fee schedule will be as follows:

One class or dog enrolled: $135.00 / 7-week session

We also believe that we offer an outstanding value for the money: small group classes with lots of individual attention in a beautiful facility, a caring and professional staff, email and phone support outside of classes – and those are just a few of many the benefits that we feel we offer our students.

 
Family / multi-dog discount:
Prior to May 1, 2008: (Additional classes taken concurrently by same family):    The first dog or class will be $125.  Additional classes/dogs enrolled simultaneously will be $100 for each additional class/dogs. 
 Note: To receive the Family Discount, all classes must be paid for at the same time.

After May 1, 2008:

Because we value our students who take multiple classes and/or train multiple dogs, we are continuing to offer significant discounts for additional classes that are paid for in the same transaction.

Second class or dog enrolled & paid for in the same transaction as the first dog: $105.00 / 7-week session

Third & fourth class or dog enrolled & paid for in the same transaction as the first dog: $105.00 / 7-week session

Students enrolling more than four dogs or taking more than four classes simultaneously should contact us for additional discounts.
Payment methods:
We accept personal checks, cashier's checks, certified checks, money orders, cash and two types of credit & debit cards:  Visa & MasterCard.   NSF checks and declined credit cards (for any reason) will be subject to a $30 administrative processing fee.

Returned Check Fee - $30 
Declined Credit Card Fee - $30

 
In-facility private lessons:  
For families who prefer one-on-one training or dogs with specific behavior problems. Call or e-mail with your specific requirements. 
Lessons conducted at FDTC. $75.00 / hour.            Package of 4 lessons used within 30 days:  $250.00

In-home visits & private lessons:  
For families who prefer one-on-one training or dogs with specific behavior problems. Call or e-mail us with your specific requirements. 
Lessons conducted in owner's home or centrally located park.  $95.00 / hour.
Note: Travel outside the FDTC service area may result in mileage charges.

Telephone, video & e-mail private lessons:  
Used most often by families living outside the FDTC service area.  $75.00 / hour. 
Call or e-mail with your specific requirements.

Seminars & Workshops:  
FDTC staff members are available to make presentations to all types of groups on a variety of subjects ranging from behavior problem solving to choosing the right dog, competition obedience, conformation handling, dog/owner relationships, etc. Cost varies -- please call with your specific requirements.

 
Gift certificates are available!  
If you know a family with a new puppy, the best gift you can give them is a Gift certificate to Family Dog Training Center. Gift certificates can be purchased for any amount, and can be applied to any of the services and products offered by FDTC: classes, private lessons, leashes, treats, chew toys and more!
