Classes for Rescue Dogs & Special Needs Dogs
We occasionally offer a special class just for "special needs" dogs and their owners. However, we have found that 99% of the special needs dogs can actually flourish in one of our regular home obedience classes.

Unlike other training schools and pet stores, our classes are very small (our average class size is 7 dogs), our training center is very large (so dogs don't feel crowded and stressed), and our instructors are extremely experienced with rescue dogs.   All of our classes cover the skills that rescue dog owners need to learn:  How to integrate the new dog into their family routine, as well as how to deal with separation anxiety, over-protectiveness, disorientation, depression, fearfulness, multi-dog families and more. Home obedience training and commands will be taught in this class, and will be used as a tool for developing a relationship with the new dog.

Note:  Truly "aggressive" dogs (aggressive toward people and/or dogs) may not be appropriate for a class environment.  If your dog is uncontrollable around other dogs or people, or has a history of biting, please contact us to arrange a private lesson prior to enrolling in a class.

Click here to contact us if you have specific questions about the suitability of a class for your special needs dog and/or if you have aggression issues.
